What is Love? How many of us have tried, in vain, to love an objectively great person only to have our attention gripped by the swagger or sway of the bad boy or girl? What’s the point of dismissing the billions of others in favor of just one?
It turns out that love may function as a commitment device, providing a solution for a class of social dilemmas termed commitment problems.
In this talk, Dr. Lawrence Ian Reed, clinical assistant professor at NYU, will provide a theoretical framework for love that will answer these questions and others. All to help us all get lucky in love.
